Police hunt for Hamilton Hill petrol station armed robber

POLICE are investigating an armed robbery at a Hamilton Hill petrol station in the early hours of this morning.

Police say a man armed with a knife entered the Winterfold Road petrol station at 4.40am and demanded cash.

After the station attendant complied, the man left on foot – heading south towards Dodd Street.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the incident or who travelled along Carrington Street, Dodd Street or Winterfold Road around that time who might have seen something to get in touch.
