Police hunt two teens over South Lake stabbing

POLICE are hunting two teens after a woman was beaten and stabbed in South Lake on December 30.

At about 7am, the 31-year-old woman was in the backyard of her property when two males entered and approached the woman from behind.

They punched the woman several times to the face and head.

She fell to the ground and one of the males stabbed her in the leg with an unknown object, causing a deep wound.

Both males then left the scene.

The first male is described as 14-15 years old, approximately 155 cm tall, slight build with tanned skin and brown eyes.

The second is described as 14 years old, approximately 153 cm tall, slight build with tanned skin and brown eyes.

Detectives are releasing this composite image of a male that may be able to assist with inquiries.
