Police investigate road rage incident in Cockburn Central

POLICE are appealing for witnesses who may be able to help with an investigation into a traffic crash in Cockburn Central about 7.50pm on Tuesday.

Major Crash officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident which included a verbal altercation between a man driving a silver Mitsubishi Triton dual cab ute and a man driving a dark coloured Kia Mentor in the car park of the Cockburn Gateway Shopping Centre on Beeliar Drive.

A short time later, both vehicles were travelling west on Beeliar Drive when the Mitsubishi Triton collided with the rear of the Kia Mentor on Beeliar Drive near the intersection of Poletti Road.

After the collision both vehicles drove off.

The driver of the Kia, a man in his 20’s sought medical attention soon after the crash.

Officers have spoken to both drivers and would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the crash.
