Police investigate Wellard crash that left woman seriously injured

MAJOR Crash officers are investigating a crash in Wellard yesterday that left a 40-year-old woman seriously injured.

At about 2pm a silver Nissan TIIDA sedan travelling north on Huntington Avenue collided with a silver Mitsubishi ASK travelling west on Cavendish Boulevard at the intersection of Cavendish Boulevard.

The 40-year-old female driver of the Mitsubishi suffered serious injuries and was conveyed by St John Ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital.

The 30-year-old female driver of the Nissan was not injured.

Major Crash Investigators are seeking witnesses who may have seen either the Nissan or the Mitsubishi on Huntington Avenue or Cavendish Boulevard prior to the crash to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
