Public help needed to find missing 14-year-old girl

AUTHORITIES have called for help locating a teenager missing since September.

A Department for Child Protection and Family Support spokeswoman said 14-year-old Kandi Hewitt was last “officially sighted” in Hamilton Hill.

“Since then there have been a number of unconfirmed sightings in the Midland and Herne Hill area,” she said.

The Department believes Kandi may be being harboured by family or friends.

“The Department has serious concerns for her safety and has been working with police to locate her, and is now appealing for the public’s help,” the spokeswoman said.

Kandi is about 165cm tall, slim, with blonde hair.

Anyone with information on her current location should contact police immediately on 131 444.
