The Fremantle Arts Centre always has a range of artistic courses during the school holidays and this time is no exception.

With more than 50 courses on offer catering to children aged five to 18 and including artistic forms like urban art, drawing, clay, jewellery making and mosaic, there is plenty to keep them busy.

Maritime and Shipwreck Museums

There is always some nautically themed fun on at the two museums during school holidays.

For the next two weeks at the Shipwreck Gallery, children can travel back in time and become a captain aboard a spice ship, finding exotic and valuable spices around the museum with the help of a clue sheet, while at the Maritime Museum, they can make their own periscope and unlock the secrets of Morse Code.
