South Lake: hunt on for man who held up service station

DETECTIVES are asking for the public’s help as they continue investigations into an armed robbery in South Lake.

Police say that at 12.47am on Thursday August 17, a man entered a South Lake petrol station and threatened a staff member with a knife, demanding cash.

When the staff member handed over the money he left the service station on foot.

The man is described as having a slim build with dark brown hair and is about 170cm tall with blue eyes.

He was wearing grey Everlast track pants, a floral bandana covering the lower part of his face, a high visibility long sleeve top and a black jumper with a grey hoodie.
