TWO people have been taken to hospital, and police are investigating, after a car crashed into a house in South Lake this morning.

A Holden Commodore sedan was travelling west along South Lake Road about 8.40am when the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the front room of a house.

The occupant of the home, a woman in her 60’s, was sitting in the front room at the time of the crash.

The driver of the Commodore, a 55-year-old man from Anketell and the occupant of the home were both taken to Royal Perth Hospital as a precaution.
