Success resident hand picked for McDonald’s leadership program

A SUCCESS resident was one of just 40 people from around the country to be selected in a new leadership program.

Keisuke Takeda was part of the inaugural McDonald’s Leadership, Experience, Accountability and Development (LEAD) Program, a week-long event which gives high-performing employees the chance to problem solve a range of business challenges.

Mr Takeda said he was excited to be chosen to participate in the program.

“I’m really excited to be part of the McDonald’s LEAD Program and to get the chance to further develop skills that I’m sure I’ll draw upon throughout my career,” he said.

“By pairing up with other restaurant crew and managers from around the country, as well as my mentor, I know I’m sure to learn plenty through this program.”

McDonald’s Western Australia operations manager Mick Young said the young employee was deserving of the opportunity.

“He was nominated due to his outstanding contribution to the running of McDonald’s Thomson’s Lake,” he said.
