Jessica NicoCockburn Gazette

A NEW garden celebrating the six seasons of Nyoongar culture took centre stage during Reconciliation Week.

ATCO Australia recently completed a Six Seasons Garden at their Jandakot Operations Centre, just in time for National Reconciliation Week celebrations from May 27 to June 3.

ATCO Australia community partnerships manager Wilmari Nel said Whadjuk Nyoongar Alton Walley took staff on walk through the garden, sharing the important roles the seasons of Birak, Bunuru, Djeran, Makuru, Djilba and Kambarang play in his culture.
