STOCKLAND’S Calleya community in Treeby is set to get a new adventure playground featuring a 190m junior BMX track this month.

The 9,500sq m park is scheduled to open in the Stockland master planned community and will also feature climbing nets, slides, sand and musical play elements, swings, a merry-go-round and picnic facilities.

Stockland residential WA general manager Col Dutton said the delivery of the highly-anticipated park would bring exciting new play spaces to residents and local families as well as an inclusive track for young BMX riders to test their skills.

“We’re delighted to offer such a versatile and innovative park that encourages kids to get on their bikes, socialise and make new friends,” he said.

“The BMX track has been carefully designed to provide endless fun for junior riders of all levels and we’re expecting this to become a major attraction.”

The new playground will also include a barbecue and picnic shelter, a water fountain, chimes and pagoda bells to offer play options for children of all abilities.

Calleya is located near Cockburn Gateway Shopping Centre, the Kwinana Freeway and Cockburn Central Train Station.
