THREE men who allegedly forced their way into a Spearwood home brandishing machetes and crowbars have been arrested.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Friday October 20, with Fremantle Detectives alleging the men entered the Rockingham Road home armed with the weapons, demanding cash and property from a 20-year-old man, his girlfriend and a 49-year-old woman who were inside at the time.

Police said one of the victims was successful in phoning for police, which spooked the intruders and they ran from the property with some stolen items.

Later that night police executed a search warrant at a property in Balcatta and a 43-year-old man was charged with aggravated burglary and armed robbery.

Today, further search warrants resulted in the stolen property being recovered and the arrest of a 27-year-old Ballajura man and 42-year-old Balga man.

All three men were charged with aggravated burglary and armed robbery offences.

The 43-year-old will appear at Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on November 1 and the other two will appear at the Fremantle Magistrates Court tomorrow.
