Truck hauling 75t steel frame squeezed through intersection

Bryce LuffCockburn Gazette

AN oversized load paused traffic momentarily so it could be squeezed through traffic lights in South Lake about midday.

A Main Roads spokeswoman said traffic lights were “pulled slightly” to allow a truck hauling a 75-tonne steel frame to pass through the intersection of North Lake Road and Osprey Drive.

She said the frame touched the lights but was not wedged as previously thought.
