WESTERN Australia’s 100th Woolworths store has opened in Coolbellup.

Officially opened on November 28, the milestone store includes a drive-up option for pick ups as well as in-store bakery, deli, seafood and fruit and vegetables.

Woolworths Coolbellup store manager Tina Cook said it had created 100 new jobs in the area.

“The store has been designed with the customer at heart following a great deal of time spent understanding what local shoppers are looking for,” she said.

To celebrate the opening the store will hold special family fun day events on December 1 and 8 from 10am to 2pm.

The store is on the corner of Coolbellup Avenue and Waverly Road.
