Cockburn Junior Football Club president Wayne Fernie said the Hamilton Hill-based club was looking to attract new families and players.

Mr Fernie said the club had been putting in extra work to attract new players.
He said there were pathways for junior players if they were keen to follow the sport right through to the top.
