Cockburn Tennis Club president Bronwyn Halley said they were excited about his return.

“Mike was the Cockburn Tennis Club coach previously and he was well respected and liked,” she said.

“He had a prior relationship with the club and we were very much in need of a good coach who has a genuine passion and commitment to the game, which is why we asked Mike and his team to join us again.

“His motivation and passion for junior tennis are one of the many reason that we are proud to have him as our coach, the fact that he has also won 2018 WA Tennis coach of the year is an added bonus.”

The Cockburn Tennis Club is open to new members and caters for players aged four and up.
