The Rise of Sneaker Culture
Find out about the evolution of your favourite kicks at this splendid exhibition at The Art Gallery of Western Australia. After popular showings in Toronto, Brooklyn and Atlanta, the international exhibition is in Perth for its only Australian presentation.
Free movie and pizza night
If you are aged between 10 and 17, Shire of Mundaring Libraries invites you to a free screening of

Join children’s entertainer Rosie O from 10am-2pm each day of the school holidays for a fantastic program of arts and crafts – including plaster painting, fantasy cupcakes, face painting and more. Waikiki Village is near the corner of Read Street and Gnangara Drive in Waikiki.
Chalk Art and Basketball Challenge

Suitable for kids aged 5-11, Einstein’s Top Secret Science will offer a heap of fun for the kids – and it’s educational! It’s on Tuesday July 11 from 2pm-3.30pm. Click

Parents are encouraged to ‘walk the talk’ by enjoying the great outdoors with their children in the July school holiday. The Bibbulmun Track from Kalamunda to Albany has walks for little legs to more experienced hikers.
Free Craft and Story Time
Get the kids to Ocean Keys Shopping Centre in Clarkson this Monday July 3, just next to the kids’ play area, for free craft and story time.
Held at iFLY’s indoor skydiving centre at 143 Great Eastern Highway, Rivervale, these holidays to enrol in superhero school. Garden City Shopping Centre transforms into a bustling underwater metropolis these school holidays, partnering with the WA Museum to shine a light on some of the oceans’ many secrets. A 20-metre giant inflatable octopus will take up residence at Garden City for two weeks. The school holiday activity schedule runs from 10am-3pm Monday to Saturday and 11am-3pm Sunday until July 17.
Surf’s Up in Rockingham
Too chilly to hit the surf? Head along to the Mary Davies Library and Community Centre on Tuesday July 11 to have a go at surfing the mechanical board and learn about keeping safe at the beach. Suitable for ages 6-11.
Skateboarding clinic in Falcon
Get to Falcon Skatepark from 10am-2.30pm on Monday July 3 for a free skateboarding clinic. It’s suitable for those ages 11-25, but those under 18 with need parental permission. To register download and complete the

Head to Victoria Quay on Wednesday July 5 and Wednesday July 12, between 10am-12pm, for a creative, hands-on photography workshop. Suitable for kids aged 8-14, the event is run by experts from the West Australian Photographic Federation.
