THE City of Armadale is on the hunt for bands and musicians to perform at next month’s FRAMED Fiesta.

The City will choose a number of local youth acts to show their talent and entertain the crowd.

Armadale mayor Henry Zelones said it was a great opportunity for local bands to get some exposure.

“This event is hugely important for our City’s young people, and is a great opportunity for young bands to showcase their talents to a live audience,” he said.

“The City of Armadale is home to many young and talented emerging musicians, and we are proud to provide this event to support them.”

FRAMED Fiesta will run alongside the Outside the Frame Youth Art Awards.

The free youth music event is aimed at 13 to 18 year olds and will be held at Rossiter Pavilion, Piara Waters from 6pm to 9pm on August 17.

Applications close on July 27 and can be made at www.armadale.wa.gov.au.
