CECIL Andrews College opened its $4.5 million STEM centre on February 16.

Including a lecture theatre, engineering studio and science laboratory kitted out with the latest technology, the centre will be for students and teachers to learn about coding, robotics and 3D printing.

Cecil Andrews College is a teacher development school, helping teachers keep up with the latest in STEM knowledge and resources for curriculum design for years 7 to 10.

The STEM centre will help the college’s 650 students, from years 7 to 12, to develop problem-solving skills applicable to the technology in their everyday lives.
