Owners and chefs Sam and Nancy Chan took over the business six years ago and have been applying their culinary expertise to create an authentic fusion of Southern Asian flavours.

Happy Gathering’s two main chefs have brought their extensive experience from mainland China and Malaysia to the restaurant.

Popular dishes on the menu include the sizzling garlic butter king prawns, peking duck, sizzling steak dishes and peking chicken.

‘Our experienced staff offer excellent customer service, which they always uphold,’ Mr Chan said.

‘We only use fresh produce and everything is cooked to order.’

With a large function room available that can cater for up to 100 people, the restaurant caters for many weddings, anniversaries, 21st birthdays and parties.

A variety of lunch specials, priced between $8 and $10, are available Tuesday to Friday.

An a la carte menu and a selection of banquets are available every day.
