Ammo, drugs found at house

A WA Police spokeswoman said officers searched the Dumsday Drive house on Thursday afternoon and found rounds of unsecured .22 calibre ammunition, as well as ammunition for rifles, shotguns and pistols, a .22 rifle magazine, two tasers, two green laser lights, about a gram of loose cannabis and other drug paraphernalia.

A 55-year-old Forrestdale man will receive a summons for failing to ensure safekeeping of ammunition and possessing or cultivating a prohibited plant.

A 19-year-old Forrestdale man will receive a summons for two counts each of possessing a prohibited weapon and possessing a controlled weapon.

His other charges include possessing a prohibited drug, possessing unlicensed ammunition, possessing an unlicensed firearm and failing to ensure safekeeping of a firearm.

Court dates are yet to be set.
