THE Armadale City Concert Band is celebrating 30 years of magical music.

Formed in 1987, the band was originally created as an avenue for students leaving high school to continue sharing their love of music.

To celebrate their anniversary, the band is holding a concert this Saturday, July 1, at the Kelmscott Hall.

Musical Director Amanda Johnson said the Back To The Hits concert will show the audience why the band has continued to make music.

“Off the back of an exciting trip to the National Band Championships in Launceston at Easter, the arrangements featured in this concert give members the chance to play some light-hearted, entertaining pieces which showcase some of the repertoire played over the past 30 years,” she said.

Doors open for Back To The Hits at 6.30pm and the concert starts at 7pm.

Tickets are available through trybooking.com/QHOT or at the door.
