Armadale: emergency services thanked for their hard work

EMERGENCY services were thanked for their hard work and dedication to the community at a special event on Wednesday night.

The City of Armadale’s RoadWise Advisory Committee thanked the more than 50 SES, police, fire emergency and ambulance service first responders who attended the event.

City of Armadale Councillor and RoadWise Committee Chair Kerry Busby said it was important to recognise the importance and commitment of emergency services.

“The first responders have an incredibly tough job being on the front line in emergency situations across metropolitan Perth, so they deserve our thanks and gratitude for the work that they do,” he said.

“For more than 20 years, the City has worked with RoadWise in collaboration with other road safety partners to assist with road safety issues.

“Members of the RoadWise Committee work in conjunction with the WA Police to help spread the road safety message to the community.”
