Armadale families soon to enjoy upgraded playgrounds across City

FAMILIES will soon be able to enjoy upgraded playgrounds across the City of Armadale.

New play equipment is being installed at Bernice Hargrave Reserve playground at the corner of Westfield Road and Grasmere Way in Kelmscott.

Youngsters can look forward to enhanced timber forts and concrete tunnels, natural balance logs and steppers, and an informal scooter track for younger ones.

Mayor Henry Zelones said natural elements of the area will be preserved, with existing trees retained for shade.

Kuhl Park in Camillo, Joe Saunders playground in Champion Lakes, Lions Park in Armadale, and Patterson Park will also have playground upgrades as part of the City’s ongoing Public Open Space Strategy.
