Armadale Hospital’s emergency department nails the mannequin challenge on Christmas Day

ALL was quiet in the emergency department at Armadale Hospital on Christmas Day as staff were frozen by a mysterious global phenomenon known as the mannequin challenge.

Emergency Doctor Ash Mukherjee, who was behind the camera, challenged his colleagues to stand frozen in different poses as he filmed around the department.

“It was just one of those times, the lunch period on Christmas Day, when it felt like we should celebrate something, do something,” he said.

He said his co-workers had done a fantastic job considering many had never heard of the challenge.

It was then back to work, saving lives, just like every other Christmas.
