Armadale man charged after allegedly failing to stop for police

MUNDIJONG Police have charged an Armadale man with a slew of driving offences after he allegedly failed to stop this morning.

Officers initially encountered the man driving erratically in the early hours of this morning on Kargotich Road in Oakford.

The man failed to stop and allegedly sped off, before police were able to track down the vehicle three hours later in Armadale.

His vehicle was revealed to be a stolen one and has been subjected to forensic testing.

The 31-year-old man was charged with aggravated reckless driving, stealing, failing to stop, stealing a motor vehicle, driving an unlicensed vehicle, having false plates and no licence.

He has been remanded in custody.
