Armadale: rape accused remanded in custody until March

A MAN accused of raping a woman and holding a teenager at knife point has been remanded in custody until March.

Fabian Nialle Hansen (47) appeared in Armadale Magistrates Court today via video link from Hakea Prison.

He was arrested on Sunday, February 5 after he allegedly held a 16-year-old girl at knifepoint and allegedly raped a 20-year-old woman in her home.

Mr Hansen been charged with seven counts of aggravated sexual penetration, two counts of deprivation of liberty and single counts of threatening to injure and aggravated burglary.

The accused told the court he had not spoken to legal aid about his court appearance and would not be making a bail application.

He is due to re-appear in Armadale Magistrates Court on March 13.
