PERTH Chamber Orchestra is returning for a candlelit concert in Armadale.

The group will be performing at St Matthew’s Church and presenting Baroque by Candlelight, featuring Bach and Vivaldi concertos and work by Melbourne-based composer Joe Chindamo.

The immersive program will be woven together with stories about the life and times of the composers narrated by local actor Chris Isaacs, designed to take the audience back in time to the 1700s.

There will also be a guest appearance by jazz musician Jamie Oehlers.

Baroque by Candlelight will be performed at 4pm and 7pm on Saturday May 6 at St Matthews Church on Jull Street.

Tickets start at $45 for the matinee and $55 for the evening concert, and under 18s are $35.
