Beckenham: more than 60 handguns and ammo stolen from store

MORE than 60 handguns and ammunition were stolen from commercial premises in Beckenham over the weekend.

Regional Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the burglary, which occurred at premises on Clapham Street.

The offence occurred between 10.20pm on Saturday March 11 and 2.50am Sunday March 12.

Police would like anyone with information about the incident, or know someone who possesses a large number of handguns, to contact them immediately on 131444.
