Mundijong man dies after motorcycle accident in Forrestdale

A MUNDIJONG man (29) was killed when he crashed his motorcycle in Forrestdale on Sunday.

A WA Police spokesman said the man, riding a Suzuki bike, was travelling on Armadale Road about 3.30pm when it appeared to have struck the centre island.

Members of the public, including an off-duty police officer, administered first aid to the rider, including CPR, until paramedics arrived to take the man to Armadale-Kelmscott Memorial Hospital, but he later died.

‘It is believed the man had earlier been stung by a bee and started to feel unwell from this point onwards,’ the spokes-man said.

‘It is not known if this was the direct cause of the crash or not.’

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
