A SCHOOL bus driver escaped serious injury after the bus he was driving hit the back of a parked fire truck on Brookton Highway earlier today.
The incident happened about 8.30am, children were on board but none were injured.
The driver was trapped and had to be freed from the wreckage, according to the ABC.

The fire crew was attending a traffic accident near Holden Road when the bus ran into the truck.
Police are expected to interview the driver.
An Education Department spokesperson said the identity of the school was unknown, although it was not a public school.
“As far as we’re aware, none of our students were involved (public school students),” the spokesperson told Comment News.
