The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale wanted the DAP to give conditional approval to the Westgen project proposed for lot 1001 Peverett Lane, lot 210 Abernethy Road and lot 200 Thomas Road.
DAP member Eugene Koltasz, seconded by the shire’s Cr Keith Ellis, chose to defer the matter for two months to get more information.
The DAP wanted to know more about the vegetation/landscaped buffers to be included, the amount of vegetation that will be retained, maintenance required on the panels, detail of the access roads within the site, noise levels and glare, a drainage strategy and fire and safety risk assessment for the site.
