Byford’s The Ridge Park and Playground officially opens

BYFORD children have a brand new playground to explore with the official opening of The Ridge Park and Playground.

The 1.7ha area within the Byford on the Scarp estate includes an inviting and fun-filled adventure and nature playground, walking trails, barbeque area and edible gardens.

A BMX and scooter track is in the final stages of construction.

Cedar Woods state manager Ben Rosser said residents should explore everything the new area had to offer.

“This will be a great addition to the estate and we’re excited to offer this unique experience for families in the area,” he said.

“I think the park and playground will become a destination for the community and we’ve had great feedback from the kids who have already given the play area a test run.

“Children of all ages will have plenty to explore.
