The Department of Environment Regulation’s (DER) Illegal Dumping Program launched the prosecution against the 33-year-old, who dumped a trailer of garden waste and a trailer of household waste on a Kargotich Road verge.
The man was found guilty of two counts of illegal dumping.
DER acting senior manager of investigations for the Illegal Dumping Program Cliff Bliss said he hoped successful prosecutions like this would deter would-be dumpers.
