Cancer fundraiser a big success at Brookman Primary school

The Langford school has been involved in the morning tea for the past eight years to help fundraise and acknowledge those who have been touched by cancer.

About $8000 was raised from the morning tea and other initiatives, which will go to the Cancer Council WA.

Principal Hans Geers said the whole school also got involved in creating a money line, which was sorted into denominations.

“Once counted, $260 was raised and is part of the total amount raised for the Cancer Council,” Mr Geers said.

“We are keen for students to become socially responsible and support our broader community.”
