Francis CurroComment News

CANNING VALE resident Scott Walkinshaw is living life on the edge after being challenged to abseil down the 220m Central Park building.

Mr Walkinshaw is braving new heights to take on one of the world’s tallest charity abseil events by taking the plunge down Perth’s tallest building.

The plunge has been set up to raise funds for families at Ronald McDonald House (RMH).

Mr Walkinshaw will be one of 125 people abseiling on Friday September 2 and Saturday September 3.

He said he was ready to take the challenge.

“A team from work took the plunge last year and they challenged me to be a part of it this year,” he said.

“It’s a great opportunity to do something fun and daring, not just for yourself but something that goes towards helping others.”

So far, Mr Walkinshaw has already raised more than $1600 for RMH Perth.
