Changes to City of Armadale bin collections from April 30

Jessica NicoComment News

ARMADALE residents are warned not to miss emptying their bin after City of Armadale altered collection times.

From April 30, bin collections in the area will start at 6am.

The earlier start is expected to allow more bins along main routes to be collected before traffic levels increase.

Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones said it was expected to lower traffic delays and improvement movement around schools.

“Road safety within local school zones is a high priority for the City and with the change to some routes around these areas there will be an improvement in traffic flow during pick up and drop off times”, he said.

Due to the changes, residents are asked to place their bins on the kerb by 6am on their collection day.
