‘Every day you worry, you go into work not knowing what you will find,’ she said. ‘Every night, you don’t sleep well.’

Armadale Detectives Constable Simon Watson said police would allege the men used industrial tools to carry out the burglaries, causing significant damage.

Officers searched a Kelmscott home on February 7 and recovered allegedly stolen property.

The emergency depot break-in occurred on January 17, soon after the Parkerville bushfires the emergency teams had helped fight.

On the same night, two cars were set alight next to the building.

Charges laid relate only to the break-in and theft of gear, not the arson.
