City of Gosnells announces winners of Christmas lights competition

CITY of Gosnells has announced the winners of its Christmas lights competition.

While judges were impressed by the high standard of entries, they unanimously awarded Best Decorated Street to Consulate Court in Thornlie, and Best Private Residence to Mark and Valerie Becker of Prince Regent Boulevard in Gosnells.

Consulate Court residents claimed a $1000 prize and commemorative street sign, while the Beckers won a $500 prize and commemorative plaque.

The three runners-up in the Best Private Residence category are Philip and Elizabeth Clegg of Westfield Street in Maddington, Adam and Emma Campbell of Consulate Court and Anthony and Mardi Fogliani of Bindoon Loop in Huntingdale. They each received a $100 voucher from Maddington Central.

First time entry winners Victor and Joy Ashman of Alcock Street in Maddington also received a $100 voucher from Maddington Central, while Nicola Macrae and Russell Wenban both won a $50 Maddington Central voucher in the random draw.
