City of Armadale Kilt Run: kilt runners skirt bad weather

Participants enjoyed the run in cool conditions before witnessing some Scottish dancing, fighting and throwing heavy things.

Children had fun shooting stones from mini-trebuchets while pipe bands entertained the crowd.

And there were plenty of Scottish stalls with food and haggis and drink to keep the crowd watered and fed.

Participants kept a close eye on the changing weather, but thankfully it held off until the early afternoon. It was a larger crowd than last year, with the event getting bigger every year.
