IT was a wee bit chilly, but hundreds of runners still donned kilts of many colours and took part in the City of Armadale’s kilt run on Sunday.
Participants enjoyed the run in cool conditions before witnessing some Scottish dancing, fighting and throwing heavy things.
Children had fun shooting stones from mini-trebuchets while pipe bands entertained the crowd.
And there were plenty of Scottish stalls with food and haggis and drink to keep the crowd watered and fed.
Participants kept a close eye on the changing weather, but thankfully it held off until the early afternoon. It was a larger crowd than last year, with the event getting bigger every year.
