CELEBRATIONS are set to kick off in the City of Armadale for National Families Week.

The Armadale Community Family Centre will be hosting festivities for kids and parents alike, with pistol painting, playdough and coloured rice sensory activities, toys in the park, and dance fitness.

Healthy nibbles along with tea and coffee will be available for a gold coin, or you can jump on a special bike to make your own pedal power smoothie.

There will also be a ‘Kindness Corner’ for locals to bring, swap and grab clothing, kids toys, books and small bric-a-brac.

The National Families Week Celebration is on Thursday, May 18, from 10am to 1pm at 101 Challis Road, Seville Grove.

Bookings are not required, but large groups should RSVP to 9497 4794.
