Cloverdale attempted sexual assault: police ask for witnesses

A 28-year-old woman was walking down the driveway of her Wright Street home about 1.30am when a stranger grabbed her from behind and pulled her to the ground.

Police said the man tried to sexually assault her but fled when the woman’s screams woke other occupants in the house.

The man is described as dark skinned, about 175cm tall, with a medium build and dark hair. He was wearing dark clothing. Call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make an online report if you have any information.
