UPDATE: Detective Senior Constable Chris Hitchen says Mr Sun was last seen after an argument with his pregnant wife, who has since given birth.

Const Hitchen said Mr Sun’s wife, who has since given birth, last saw him after a verbal dispute at a restaurant the pair own in the CBD.

He said Mr Sun had a history of disappearing, having once gone missing for eight days before returning, which was why his wife waited until November 1 to alert police to before raising the alarm.

Const Hitchen said to the best of their knowledge Mr Sun was still in the state.

“We’ve conducted the inquires we can conduct, there’s no information to suggest he’s left the country through migration and through international and regional flights,” he said.

Const Hitchen said Mr Sun had not used his mobile phone since his disappearance.

“There is no usage on his phone in particular to show he’s made any calls or still has that phone,” he said.
