Cute quendas face tough times

Staff ReporterComment News

The Department of Environment and Conservation’s Geoff Barrett will talk about the quenda on April 17 at Baker’s House, 10 Welcome Meander, Harrisdale from 7pm to 8.30pm.

Quendas are the size of a rabbit, have a pouch like all other marsupials and are only found in the south west of WA.

Quendas are facing a major threat to their habitat and the Darling Range Wildlife Shelter was caring for a little quenda last week.
