DFES battling large truck fire south of Perth

EMERGENCY services have rushed to a large truck fire in Perth’s east this afternoon.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) were called to the scene just before 1.45pm on Tuesday afternoon.

The truck was engulfed in flames on Eleventh Road, between Wungong and Lannam Roads, in Wungong, 5km south of Armadale.

Fire crews from Armadale, Canning Vale and Maddington were called, with eighteen firefighters were on the scene.

A DFES spokesperson said: “the truck was carrying various car parts.”

WA Police also attended for traffic management.
