THE Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) has issued bushfire advice for Orange Grove after a blaze broke out around midday.
The fire, started near the intersection of Reservoir Road and Grant Street, is currently being kept under control by 20 career and Bush Fire Service fire-fighters.
While DFES said there was no threat to lives or homes, they urged residents bounded by Maddington Road to the north, Grant Steet to the east, Reservoir Road to the south and Standiland Street to the west to be aware and keep up to date with the situation.
They said residents should stay alert and watch for smoke and fire, close all doors and windows and read through their bushfire survival plan.
The fire was first reported at 12.03pm and has currently burnt through three hectares.
DFES have advised roads have not been closed but said motorists should avoid the area, reduce speed and drive carefully due to smoke.
