‘I am writing on behalf of my darling dog Maggie, who was stolen from our home on Tuesday the 28th of January,’ she wrote to the Comment News.
‘Maggie is a thigh-height, 70kg neapolitan mastiff and a much loved family pet, and we have not rested since she was taken.’
Ms Cooper’s letter went on to describe how at 6pm, while her family was home, the gate lock was picked and Maggie disappeared.
She said their male dog, Morcheba, had blood that was not his own on his back.
‘This theft is akin to someone stealing my child,’ Ms Cooper wrote. ‘I have committed the past seven days to a non-stop campaign to find Maggie and I won’t stop’
