The City of Armadale will host the inaugural Perth Kilt Run at 8.30am from Armadale Arena and finish at Memorial Park by 10.30am in time for the start of the Highland Gathering at 11am in the adjacent Minnawarra Park.

‘This is a free, accessible, family friendly event,’ Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones said.

‘So whether you are able or not so able, an athlete, fun runner, young or just young at heart, put on your kilt and be part of this record-breaking attempt.’

Participants can run, jog or walk the route and register as individual runners, families or teams.

The Highland Gathering has Scottish food, Scottish and Irish dancing, a Medieval Fair and Strong Men Competition plus music, entertainment in a sea of tartan until 7pm that day.
