Family trying to bring body home of Perth man who died “suddenly” in Bali

Staff WriterComment News

A friend of a shattered family has started a desperate Go Fund Me to bring the body of Perth man Chris Taylor home from Bali after he died suddenly.

While details surrounding Mr Taylor’s death are scant it’s believed he had been out drinking before his death.

Mr Taylor died on December 27 and 137 people had already raised more than $22,000 of the $15,000 goal.

Friend Beth Parker said the family’s insurance did not cover the cost of bringing Mr Taylor’s body home.

“It’s with a shattered heart that we have to make this post. Chris Taylor tragically and unfairly passed away in Bali on 27 December. We don’t have many details to share,” Ms Parker wrote.

Ms Parker said Mr Taylor’s immediate family remain in Bali with his body.

“We are asking for help to bring him home, whatever you can spare, to ease this strain on Ebony and Chris’ family,” she wrote.

Family and friends described Mr Taylor as an “amazing bloke”, a “great guy” and a “bloody legend”.
