Staff WriterComment News

POLICE have arrested a suspect in relation to violence in Canning Vale yesterday that left a teenager dead and five people in hospital.

While there are reports that two rival gangs had met for an organised brawl, the official police line is that officers were called to a McDonald’s outlet on Ranford Road in response to a disturbance involving a “large group of people fighting” about 3.15pm.

A spokesman said two people were stabbed during the incident.

Police were called to Eucalyptus Boulevard in Canning Vale about 4.15pm, where a car reportedly drove into a group of people.
